If you look today at the same DxOMark rating or simply at the flagship market, you can see that everything has become much more diverse. Huawei P40 Pro has an exclusive 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 sensor, Oppo Find X2 Pro – also an exclusive (for BBK concern) 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is based on a 108-megapixel sensor, Apple’s flagships still have 12-megapixel sensors.
Soon there will be more top-end sensors. The fact that this year we should expect 192-megapixel cameras, we began to guess even during the announcement of the SoC Snapdragon 765 / 765G, since these platforms support cameras with this resolution.
And now a well-known insider reports that next month we will see some kind of device (or several) with just such a bunch: Snapdragon 765 / 765G and a 192-megapixel camera.
