All because of the shortage of components for engines, because of which the production of internal combustion engines suffers.

“ The resumption of production of Lada Granta with a 16-valve engine may take place at AvtoVAZ no earlier than September. Previously, this event was expected at the plant this July. Officially announced at the end of April this year, the assembly of Lada Granta with a “sixteen-valve” was actually put on hold in May, as we previously reported. Then the supply of components for such an engine was very limited. Almost everything that came in was directed to ensure the release of Lada Vesta NG. Now, apparently, the situation has not changed ,” insiders write.
