The “world’s fastest SSD” Micron Crucial T700 went on sale. The manufacturer calls it the fastest, but the speeds here are really impressive: 12,400 MB / s and 11,800 MB / s for reading and writing, respectively.

However, you have to pay for this speed. The 1TB model costs $180, the 2TB version is already asking $340, and the top-end 4TB model will cost a hefty $600. Moreover, these are all prices without a radiator, and with it the price will be $ 30 higher in any version.

In general, all PCIe 5.0 SSDs are very expensive so far, although they provide very high data transfer rates. The drive is based on 232-layer TLC NAND memory and a Phison E26 controller. The TWB value for models in ascending order is 600TB, 1200TB and 2400TB.
