1C will release an early version of the Dread Templar retro shooter this fall
1C Entertainment and T19 Games have announced the Dread Templar, a pixel-based retro shooter inspired by modern and classic genre representatives. The game will go on Steam Early Access in the fall of 2021, with a full release scheduled for 2022. The project was previously known as Hell Hunt, but after cooperating with 1C Entertainment, the name was changed.
In Dread Templar, you play as the Dread Templar, seeking revenge in the depths of the kingdom of evil. You have to face hordes of bloodthirsty demons, using a katana, firearms, or hellish weapons, “which will make you the most terrible creature in hell. ” In total, the game will have more than 10 types of weapons.
Dread Templar will also offer to explore levels and solve puzzles to find hidden weapons and improvements. In addition to this, you will be able to gain abilities and pump skills following the play style, which will help in the battle against the dark forces.
