The sale of 915,000 units of headset meant that it had overruled the previous sale of the VR headsets like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. As an outsider, yes, the sale sounds promising and successful, but The Wall Street Journal has given out a report stating that Sony is seeking further ways to make the sale.

Though Andrew House, the CEO of Sony said, “You literally have people lining up outside stores when they know the stock is being replenished. It’s the classic case in any organization — the guys who are on the front end in sales are getting very excited, very hyped up. You have to temper that with other voices inside the company, myself among them, saying let’s just be a little bit careful”, the recent news doesn’t retain this enthusiasm.
