Huawei talked about sales of smartphones, laptops and wearable devices
On the evening of April 8, Huawei hosted an online press conference during which Huawei Consumer Business Director Yu ChengDong first announced the division’s performance in the 2019 calendar year.

According to the leader of the division, the consumer business last year brought $ 66 billion in revenue, an increase of 34% year on year. Smartphone shipments exceeded 240 million units, which allowed Huawei to take a confident second place in the ranking of the largest smartphone providers.
Deliveries of laptops from Huawei increased by 200% year on year, shipments of wearable electronics increased by 170%, and revenue from the sale of smart audio devices grew by 200%.
In 2019, Huawei’s R&D expenses amounted to $ 18.6 billion, i.e. about 15 annual sales.
The company also launched the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro in China at a more attractive price than in Europe and announced the smart TV Huawei OLED TV Vision X65.
