Prices already announced
BMW, which recently introduced the updated 2024 BMW X5 and X6 crossover models , has now announced their “charged” versions with the letter M. The main news is that the only M version of both crossovers will be the Competition, more regular M versions will be offered will not be.
2024 BMW X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition unveiled
Under the hood of these vehicles will be a new 48-volt hybrid auxiliary engine, complementing the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Power will be 617 horsepower and 749 Nm of torque. The electric motor has a power of 12 hp. and 200 Nm. It allows you to move off faster and is used in the start / stop function. Both crossovers need only 3.7 seconds to accelerate to 96 km / h per hour. The top speed is 249 km/h or 285 km/h with the M Driver Package.
BMW updated the chassis with extra struts and retuned the dampers. The cars received thinner headlights, restyled grilles and black accents on the body. Inside, there is a new curved display that houses the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The cars also received atmospheric lighting and carbon fiber interior trim.
Both models will go into production in April. The 2024 BMW X5 M Competition starts at $123,295, while the X6 M Competition starts at $128,195.
