4G version of LG Velvet smartphone with top processor in 2018 costs € 499

LG has released a more affordable version of the Velvet smartphone with an attractive appearance without any loud announcements. The device lost support for 5G communication, but at the same time, it became cheaper at once by 150 euros.

The original LG Velvet debuted in May this year. The device carries onboard a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G modem, 8GB of RAM, and a flash drive with a capacity of 128GB expandable with a microSD card. The smartphone costs 650 euros.

The 4G version of the device received a Snapdragon 845 (SDM845) chip, the flagship processor of 2018. The product contains eight Kryo 385 computing cores: four of them operate at a clock speed of up to 2.8 GHz, another four – up to 1.8 GHz. Graphics processing is handled by the Adreno 630 controller. The amount of RAM is reduced to 6 GB, and the capacity of the flash module remains the same – 128 GB. This modification of the Velvet is offered for 499 euros.

Other characteristics of smartphones are identical. This is a 6.8-inch OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20.5: 9 and a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, a triple main camera in a configuration of 48 + 8 + 5 million pixels, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 4300 mA battery. h with recharging via a symmetrical USB Type-C port. The operating system is Android 10.
