505 Games will release an action-packed roguelike with elements of stealth Rogue Spirit
Last week, Polish studio Kids With Sticks announced a third-person action-packed roguelike with elements of stealth Rogue Spirit. It became known that the project has interested the publisher 505 Games, which will be releasing the game around the world. Rogue Spirit will receive a free demo on June 9 and appear in Steam Early Access in August.
Rogue Spirit takes place in the fantasy kingdom of Midra. Imprisoned long ago in a dungeon, the Demon King freed himself and unleashed a bloody war. Without waiting for salvation, the monks of the Forgotten Monastery summoned the spirit of Prince Midra (for him to play), who had already conquered the forces of Chaos.
The protagonist’s ghost itself is not capable of fighting. Its main feature will be the ability to inhabit the bodies of opponents, each of which has unique abilities and weapons. According to the developers, the player will have to learn the styles of different heroes to adapt to constantly changing circumstances.
When creating the game world, Kids With Sticks was inspired by traditional oriental design. In total, Rogue Spirit will have 10 procedurally generated levels and five unique biomes.
