Rumors did not materialize: Apple will introduce new iPad Pro only in the next quarter
Previously, it was assumed that the updated iPad Pro with 5G support, new processors, and Mini-LED displays would be presented later this month. Now DigiTimes has announced that new tablets will have to wait until the second quarter.
Confirmed this information and authoritative analyst Jon Prosser (Jon Prosser), who previously said that the new tablets “guaranteed” will be launched in March. He now claims that the 2021 iPad Pro will be announced sometime in April. This is in line with DigiTimes’ vague prediction that tablet shipments will begin in the second quarter.
It is worth noting that a couple of days ago, the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo announced that the launch of the third-generation AirPods, which were supposedly supposed to be presented with the new iPad Pro, was postponed to the third quarter.
Apple is expected to present a fairly broad portfolio of new products soon. In addition to the new iPad Pro and third-generation AirPods, AirTag trackers are expected to be announced shortly, which were rumored to be launched late last year.
