Samsung Galaxy S23 phones:
Twice as many orders were collected in 24 hours than Galaxy S22 in the same period.
Raju Pullan, senior vice president of Samsung’s India office, told ETTelecom that almost 140,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 line of phones were placed in India in 24 hours. The publication notes that this is twice as much as the Galaxy S22 was ordered for the same period.
The volume of orders in terms of money is not reported, but if we take into account the average cost of the Galaxy S23 in India at $ 1,200 (in India, as well as in several other regions, the Galaxy S23 has risen in price), then it will be approximately $ 168 million.
Recall, earlier it became known that locally produced Galaxy S23 will be sold in India.
