Key characteristics of the flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 5 II revealed

As we already reported, Sony is preparing to release the flagship smartphone Xperia 5 II with support for 5G mobile communications. Now information about the device has appeared on the websites of two organizations at once – the China Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) and 3C (China Compulsory Certificate).

It is indicated that the novelty is enclosed in a case with dimensions of 157.65 × 68.4 × 8 mm. The display measures 6.1 inches diagonally and has an aspect ratio of 21: 9. It is rumored to be using an FHD + OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The main camera has a three-component configuration: all modules are supposedly made using 12-megapixel sensors. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3860 mAh is responsible for power supply. Support for fast charging technology is mentioned, but its power is not disclosed.

According to available information, the equipment will include a Snapdragon 865 processor, at least 8 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB, or more, an NFC controller. Operating system – Android 10.

The official presentation of the Xperia 5 II will take place very soon – on September 17th. The smartphone will be offered in at least two color options – black and gray.
