According to the thematic community Avtograd news, at the AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti, a fresh, newly assembled batch of Lada Niva cars turned out to be defective. The lot includes both Niva Legend and Niva Travel. Because of this, the shipment of the batch was blocked, and all assembled cars that have not yet left the factory will now be checked again.

The reason is that bursting brake hoses were found on several cars, and now everything that is located on the territory of the car factory is subject to rechecking. It is safe to say that not a single car with such a defect will leave the gates of the VAZ.
It is also specified that experts at AvtoVAZ are now investigating the reasons for such a marriage and are working to eliminate it. At the same time, “the shipping site has the necessary stock of previously assembled vehicles ready for shipment to consumers.”
The administrator of the thematic community Avtograd News lives in Tolyatti and works at AvtoVAZ. He “leaked” a lot of accurate information to the network, including photos of the new Lada Vesta NG, videos demonstrating the interior of the car, information about incomplete Lada Granta, problems with spare parts, and so on.
