Serial production of the new Lada Vesta NG began in Tolyatti on March 3. So far, all cars are produced only with an eight-valve 90-horsepower VAZ-11182 engine. A more powerful 16-valve engine is promised to be returned to the assembly line in May.
The cars received two airbags, ABS, air conditioning, parking sensors, a multimedia system with a 7-inch screen, a multifunction steering wheel with buttons, heated windshield, mirrors and front seats, as well as 17-inch wheels in the Cross version. At the end of the year, versions with side airbags, ESP, a digital instrument panel and a large vertical screen will be released.
