A mod released for Red Dead Redemption 2 that preserves the consequences of player interactions with the world
Interesting modifications have been regularly released for Red Dead Redemption 2 since its release on PC. Not so long ago, enthusiasts turned Armadillo into a thriving settlement with their own efforts and added the opportunity to do the arms business. And recently, Enhanced Entity and World Persistence 1.4 was included in the list of curious fan projects. The author’s work under the pseudonym Juliet G was created to preserve the consequences of the player’s interactions with the outside world.
The mentioned modification tracks the location of objects, vehicles, weapons, horses, and corpses. Thus, if you arrange a major firefight and, after some time, return to the place where it was unfolding, you will be able to see bodies and bloodstains. The situation is similar to the cannons: they will remain where they were thrown. Also, all user interactions with the world are recorded in a special list. It can be edited at your discretion to delete or, conversely, permanently save certain consequences. And as a bonus, the mod makes the witness system more interactive and encourages hiding corpses.
The author assures that he has optimized the modification and provided it with a performance monitoring system. It monitors the frame rate and dynamically disables the mod if drops are observed.
You can download Enhanced Entity and World Persistence 1.4 on the Nexus Mods website after pre-authorization.
