A new hit is coming: peak online “beta” Naraka: Bladepoint on Steam almost 150 thousand people
From April 23 to April 26, open beta testing of the Naraka: Bladepoint battle royale from the Chinese studio 24 Entertainment took place on Steam. Judging by the number of users attracted, the game is guaranteed to be a success.
According to the Steam Database website, the peak online in the project was 148,931 people. This is an impressive figure, even with free access. During the beta, Naraka: Bladepoint was in the top 10 games on Steam for concurrent users. At the start of testing, she overtook such mastodons as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Team Fortress 2, Rust, and Path of Exile, as reported by 24 Entertainment in a personal microblog.
As a reminder, Naraka: Bladepoint is a mixture of battle royale and action focusing on close and medium-range combat. Users will compete in matches with the participation of sixty people, gradually exploring the fictional region of Morus, where the events of the game unfold. The features of Naraka: Bladepoint include a wide selection of weapons, the ability to use acrobatic stunts and grappling hooks in battles, Asian style, and the characters’ ability.
Naraka: Bladepoint was planned to be released on PC in 2020, but the release never occurred. No new release date was announced.
