Unlike Samsung, Realme’s shots must be real, not generative.
Chuchu Jessie, director of marketing for Realme’s Chinese office, posted a snapshot of the moon on Weibo.
He accompanied the image with the following text: “I was looking forward to a smartphone that can take pictures of the moon, and finally my wish came true!”. And then the tags #11 and #series follow. This is more than a transparent hint that the cameras of the Realme 11 smartphones will have a moon shooting mode. And the photo posted by Chuchu Jessie is most likely taken by the camera of the 200-megapixel flagship of the Realme 11 Pro + series .
A special moon shooting mode will appear in the midrange Realme 11 Pro +
If earlier the moon shooting modes were the prerogative of flagships only, now they appear in simpler models as well – this has become possible thanks to improvements in optics and matrices of inexpensive smartphones. And it is possible that such models will be able to photograph the Moon no worse than tops. At least these will be real photos, and not something generated by a neural network, like Samsung .
