Previously, the subscription worked only for Moscow
The Yandex.Drive team has expanded the operation of an unusual function for a car-sharing service – long-term lease. Previously, it was only available in Moscow. Now you can use a car by subscription in St. Petersburg.
A subscription to Yandex.Drive cars appeared in St. Petersburg.
The application now offers the opportunity to rent a car by subscription for one month to one and a half years. This function allows you not to think about registration, maintenance, and insurance – Drive takes it upon itself.
You can order a car without leaving home in a few clicks: choose a model, type of insurance, subscription period, and mileage. By the beginning of the rental, Drive will bring a clean and refueled car to the address. Mercedes e200, Mercedes c180, BMW 520i, and Audi A3 are available for rent in St. Petersburg. In the future, it is planned to expand the list of models.
The developers especially note the possibility of access to the car without keys, remote heating, and cooling, the ability to use carsharing cars simultaneously with the subscription.
Long-term lease includes scheduled maintenance and tire fitting, comprehensive insurance, compulsory motor third-party liability insurance, and life insurance – you don’t have to worry about repairs or accidents. The user can call a technician who will fix the car on the spot or take it to the service station and return it in a breakdown.
The total subscription price depends on the rental period, selected mileage, newness of the car, model, and other factors. For example, a Mercedes e200 from Drive Park costs from 47,000 rubles a month, and a new Volkswagen Polo will soon be available for subscription, from 15,000 rubles.
Payment is debited once a week, monthly, or in full at once – as the user chooses. The user pays for refueling and regular washes himself.
Part of the subscription functionality will appear in St. Petersburg today, and some services will become available a little later.
