Huawei has patented a design for a new foldable smartphone that should be more affordable than Huawei’s flagship Mate X line.

In terms of its form factor, it resembles the Motorola Razr and Galaxy Z Flip clamshells. On the outside of the body there is an additional screen and a dual main camera.
As for the main screen, it has no cutouts or holes. Huawei can implement in this smartphone the camera technology under the screen. However, if there is an external screen, the main camera can be used to create selfies and refuse the front camera.
At the moment, Huawei has big problems with the supply of components due to the current US sanctions. Therefore, it is not a fact that we will see new experimental smartphones from this manufacturer in the near future.
