There is a version with a more powerful CPU
It looks like AMD’s vision for Mendocino processors is starting to materialize. HP introduced the large 17-inch Laptop 17z-cp200 with a price tag of just $330, making it one of the cheapest laptops in its class.
For this money, the buyer gets a mobile PC based on Athlon Gold 7220U, and these are two Zen 2 cores and an Adreno 610 GPU. Of course, by today’s standards, this is a very low-performance solution, but for $ 330 you can usually find only some laptops on sale. old Intel Atom processors, which are significantly slower than the new Ryzen. There are also modifications with more productive Mendocino APUs.
As for the rest of the parameters, the laptop offers Windows 11, a 17.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080 pixels depending on the modification, an SSD from 128 GB to 1 TB, 8 GB of RAM and USB-C, USB ports 3.0 (x2) and HDMI. The battery capacity is only 41 Wh, so autonomy will obviously not be a record.
