IDC analysts summed up the first quarter of 2020 in the Chinese smartphone market – the largest smartphone market in the world. During the reporting period, 66.6 million devices were shipped here, which is 20.3% less than in the first quarter of 2019, when the supply volume was 83.6 million units. This is the largest decline in the history of the Chinese smartphone market. It is due to supply chain disruptions and falling demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vivo ranks second with 18.1%. A year ago, the share of this brand was 19.1%. In third place is Oppo. Over the year, Oppo’s share increased from 16.8% to 17.8%. What follows is Xiaomi with 10.6%. A year ago, Xiaomi’s share was 12.7%. Closes the first five Apple. The share of the American company for the year increased from 6.9% to 7.6%.
