Acer Nitro 5 laptop powered by Ryzen 7 5800H and GeForce RTX 3080 priced at $2376.11
In the database of the German retailer Electronic Partner, a new model of the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop has appeared, equipped with the yet unrepresented Ryzen 7 5800H (Cezanne) processor and the GeForce RTX 3080 mobile graphics accelerator. In this configuration, the portable gaming system is estimated by the seller at $2376.11.
The gaming laptop (model AN517-41-R9S5 Nitro 5) is equipped with a 17.3-inch display, 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 1TB solid-state drive.
According to the technical specifications, the kit also includes a 180W PSU. Unfortunately, nothing has been reported about the features of the version of the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator, but it is very likely that we are talking about an energy-efficient version of Max-Q since the estimated TDP of the Ryzen 7 5800H alone is 45 W.
In addition to the above system, the German seller expects a simpler 15.6-inch version of the Acer Nitro 5, equipped with the same processor, a GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card and a 512 GB solid-state drive.
We will remind that the announcement of high-performance mobile processors AMD Ryzen 5000H series is expected at CES 2021. In addition, the company may present energy-efficient mobile Ryzen 5000U chips. Unlike the former, the latter will be based not only on the new Zen 3 architecture but also on the Zen 2 architecture. At the same electronics show, the presentation of mobile GeForce RTX 30 series chips from NVIDIA is expected.
