Acer unveils Nitro XV242YP gaming monitor with 0.5ms response time and 165Hz frequency
Acer introduced the Nitro XV242YP gaming monitor to the Russian market with support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, which are responsible for eliminating the effect of tearing in the frame and improving the smoothness of the image.
The novelty is made on a high-quality IPS matrix with a diagonal of 24 inches and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). We are talking about VESA Display HDR 400 certification – the brightness reaches 400 cd / m 2. SRGB color space coverage – 99%.
The panel has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms (in overclocking mode). ” With these parameters, even fast-moving objects on the screen will remain sharp and will not leave annoying trails behind them,” the developer says.
Acer VisionCare complex of technologies is responsible for reducing eye fatigue during hours of battles. Among them is the Flicker-less function, which reduces the level of screen flicker, and the BlueLightShield system, which eliminates harmful radiation from the blue part of the light spectrum (without losing colour quality). The Low Dimming tool is designed for comfortable playing in dimly lit rooms or at night.
The monitor is equipped with 2-watt speakers, two HDMI interfaces and a DisplayPort connector. The stand provides a change in height above the table (up to 120 mm), rotation by 360 degrees, change of the angle of inclination from -5 to 25 degrees and transfer to portrait mode.
