Acer refreshes thin and powerful ConceptD 3 laptops for graphics and video
Acer has unveiled two new notebooks that are part of the concept series, focused on the professional with graphics and video content. Concept 314 and 315, equipped with 14- and 15.6-inches, respectively, will appeal to video bloggers, content creators, designers, and 3D professionals.
At first glance, both laptops are attracted by rather thin cases and compact dimensions. These options will be of particular interest to users who need a mobile solution. The 14-inch model weighs just 1.35 kg. The concept 315 is 240 grams heavier. The metal cases of notebooks are made using micro-arc oxidation technology, which makes them highly resistant to wear and tear.
As for the technical characteristics, everything here is at an expected high level. Computers are equipped with IPS-screens with Full HD resolution, providing 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. In addition, the manufacturer guarantees full-color matching on the screen and in the finished printed product. As a platform, Intel Core i7 processors are used, working in conjunction with NVIDIA Quadro T1000 professional video cards.
The volume of DDR4 RAM is 16 GB, and for data storage, drives with a capacity of up to 1 TB are used. We should also mention the Vortex Flow cooling system, the noise level of which does not exceed 40 dB even under maximum load. Laptops are equipped with a wide range of ports, including HDMI, Thunderbolt 3, Mini DisplayPort, and SD card reader.
Both laptops are already available on the Russian market. concept 3 314 cost varies from $1683.62 to $2091.41, depending on the configuration. The most affordable modification ConceptD 3 315 will cost $1683.62, while the most advanced one will have to pay $2104.56.
