Acer unveils TravelMate Spin B3 compact convertible laptop for students
Acer has unveiled the next generation TravelMate Spin B3 laptop for educational use. The device will go on sale in the spring.
The laptop is equipped with an 11.6-inch display with touch support. Moreover, you can interact with the screen not only with your fingers but also with a special pen, for storage of which there is a compartment in the side of the case.
The screen is protected from damage by Corning Gorilla Glass with an antibacterial coating. The lid can be rotated 360 degrees to use the laptop as a tablet.
The device is based on the Intel Jasper Lake hardware platform with a Celeron or Pentium Silver processor. The equipment includes a 5-megapixel webcam, network Ethernet controller, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, and HDMI interfaces.
The laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless communication, and an optional 4G / LTE module can be installed to connect to cellular networks. The claimed battery life on a single charge of the battery reaches 12 hours.
The laptop is housed in a ruggedized case. The operating system is Windows 10. The novelty will go on sale at an estimated price of $ 330.
