Activision will sue Warzone’s 2017 indie game developer of the same name

Last year, Activision Blizzard registered the Warzone trademark, the subtitle for the popular Battle Royale in the Call of Duty series. Nonetheless, the indie developer behind the browser strategy Warzone has tried to prevent this from happening. Now Activision Blizzard has filed a lawsuit to admit that the two games cannot be confused, and the creator of Warzone launched a fundraiser to fight the publisher.
