They will be provided on a lease
Aeroflot Group has signed a contract for the supply of MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft with the leasing company Aviacapital Service, as reported by TASS.
Aeroflot Group and the leasing company Aviacapital-Service entered into financial lease agreements (leasing) for 18 MS-21-310 aircraft and 34 SJ-100 aircraft.
As Aeroflot explained, the airline will receive six MS-21-310 aircraft, Rossiya – -12 MS-21-310, and 24 SJ-100 aircraft.
The general director of the group, Sergei Alexandrovsky, who took part in the signing of the contract, said that the aircraft are planned to be delivered in 2023–2025.
Aeroflot and Aviacapital-Service have agreed to supply more than 50 MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft
The agreement with the lessor of the MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft, Aviacapital-Service, is a logical continuation of the partnership with UAC. At EEF 2022, Aeroflot and UAC signed an agreement of intent to purchase 339 new aircraft: imported MC-21-310, SJ-100, and Tu-214. By 2025, Aeroflot will receive 52 new MS-21 and SJ-100.
