80% comes from domestic flights
Aeroflot plans to transport 45 million people this year, and next year to increase passenger traffic, as stated by Aeroflot CEO Sergei Alexandrovsky.
“The basic scenario for 2023 was 43 million. By the middle of the year, we realized that we could add, so we adjusted it to 45 million. The goal for next year is at least 47 million passengers,” Aleksandrovsky noted.
Aeroflot is increasing passenger traffic and plans to end the quarter with a “confident profit”
80% are domestic flights, 20% are international. At the same time, Aeroflot is going to complete the third quarter with a “confident operating profit.”
In September we plan to be no lower than June values. June is the beginning of the active summer season. September is usually worse, but now we see a trend to be higher than the beginning of the season.
Compared to last year, the company’s June passenger traffic increased by 16.2% and amounted to 31.2 million people.
