And automatic switching between devices
Apple has released a software update for its wireless headphones – AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro.
AirPods Pro has received an important update. Surround sound has appeared
Apple itself has not provided the exact changelog that the firmware numbered 3A283 brings. However, users quickly discovered one important innovation.
We’re talking about Spatial Audio support for AirPods Pro. The feature was unveiled at the summer WWDC 2020 developer conference. It requires “iOS 14” on a smartphone or iPadOS 14 on a tablet to work. Spatial Audio is designed to provide theater-like sound. To do this, the gyroscope and accelerometer of the AirPods Pro and the iPhone are used to track the user’s head movements and the position of the smartphone and then adjust the sound accordingly.
Another innovation discovered is the automatic switching of headphones between devices. The function automatically connects headphones to any Apple device with a user account when the user turns on sound on it and actively uses this device.
