Alba: A Wildlife Adventure From The Creators Of Monument Valley Coming To Console, PC And Smartphone
As part of the Summer Game Fest, the creators of two parts of the excellent meditation puzzler Monument Valley presented their next project – Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. At the same time, the Ustwo Games studio has released a short video that gives an idea of how the game will look like.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is all about the environment. “The fate of our future lies in our little hands, ” says the description. ” Help Alba and Ines start moving and change the world!”
The above video shows a squirrel and, obviously, one of the main characters – a girl who defiantly looks from a hillock at the landscape around, surrounded by newspapers, notebooks, books and other things like a camera, a sandwich, pens and a bottle of water – in general, everything that fit into her small portfolio.
This will be the first game from Ustwo to be released on consoles alongside PCs and Apple devices (announced iOS, macOS, tvOS). The London-based studio has received widespread critical acclaim for the Monument Valley series following its first mobile hit, Whale Trail.
The last project of the studio was a game for Apple Arcade – Assemble With Care 2019. In our recent review, Alexander Babulin was very pleased with the game, calling it a breath of fresh air, and as shortcomings, he only noted that the duration was too short.
