Alfa-Bank: Launched the first banking on VKontakte

The chatbot can show the balance, send notifications about spending and transfer money

The Alfa-Bank team announced the launch of the opportunity to use a number of banking services directly on VKontakte. As the press service notes, this is the first banking service in VK in Russia.

In VK Messenger, right in the correspondence with the virtual cat “Ding”, you can transfer money and view card expenses. The company also promises to launch games and payment by QR codes soon. 

Recall that at the end of last year, Alfa-Bank spoke about plans to launch the ability to open cards and make transfers via VK and Telegram. However, on March 1, 2023, a law came into force restricting the use of Telegram for a number of organizations in Russia, including banks.
