This week, Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Thomas O’Malley announced that all four iPhone 13 models would receive upgraded ultra-wide-angle cameras with different apertures, up to f / 1.8 aperture. The wide-angle lens of the iPhone 12 is f / 2.4.

Last November, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the ultra-wide-angle lens would be upgraded to f / 1.8 aperture, but an insider was confident that only the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. He believed that the updated ultra-wide-angle lens would be extended to all iPhone models only in 2022.

Also, Barclays analysts also claim that the standard version of the iPhone 13 Pro will use the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s telephoto lens. It will have a focal length of 65mm and an f / 2.2 aperture.

According to rumors, the new line of Apple smartphones may not be called the iPhone 13, but the iPhone 12S.
