All-in-ones iMac Pro are about to disappear from sale – a major update is just around the corner

The other day it was noticed that all-in-one iMac Pros received a mark in the Apple Store “while stocks remain.” Today, these computers have disappeared for a while from sale on the official Apple.com online store and major retail partners in the United States.

Previously, Apple made all iMac Pro configurations unavailable for order, except for the base one for $ 4999. And although there was no official announcement about the termination of production, all this indicates the imminent renewal of a series of products three years ago.

Like most other retailers, Apple channel partners such as Best Buy and Amazon have marked the iMac Pro unavailable for shipping and collection. But computers can still periodically appear on sale and disappear due to the cancellation of existing orders, as well as other factors. In any case, the Mac Pro is now essentially Apple’s only professional desktop computer.

In August 2020, the company introduced updated iMacs. Still, it did not make any changes to the iMac Pro family – presumably due to the upcoming launch of models with Apple’s proprietary ARM-based CPUs. The updated 2020 iMac models deliver the same performance as the current iMac Pro and include an anti-glare nano-textured screen coating option.

There have been rumors of a completely redesigned iMac Pro with thinner bezels, a flat back, and an ARM-based hardware platform for some time now. Given the obvious benefits that Apple laptops have gained from switching to their own mobile processor, there is no doubt that a similar update will soon be made to Apple’s all-in-one desktops, for which the company is already making room in its product portfolio.
