Prototypes of the new generation Kodiaq are being assembled as part of a production upgrade, for which 12 million euros have been allocated. This amount will go to the improved chassis assembly line, the modernization of the main conveyor. The main reason for this is the launch of a new generation of hybrid Kodiaq. It will be released under the name Kodiaq iV, but there are no technical details yet. It is expected that after the modernization of production, up to 410 crossovers per day will roll off the assembly line.

The Skoda Kodiaq has been in production since 2016, and the release of the new generation is already hot. In total, more than 800 thousand cars were assembled, including in Russia (until 2022, Kodiaq was assembled at the GAZ site in Nizhny Novgorod). The official premiere of the new Kodiaq will take place in the fall, but sales will start only in 2024.
