Almost a quarter of SSD: it became known how much space is occupied by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Xbox Series X

Recently publisher Activision announced that preloading Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Xbox Series X and Series S requires 130GB of free space. This is not that much considering the current size of the full version of CoD: MW, but it’s too early to rejoice. It was reported that on the older Microsoft console of the new generation, the next part of the series takes up almost a quarter of the space available on the SSD.

The relevant details were shared by a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym Seanpr92. He posted a photo showing the choice of components when installing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Xbox Series X. There are twelve of them, but only a few elements are visible in the picture: different modes, data for ray tracing technology, HD textures and so on. … If you select everything, the size is 187.9 GB. That’s almost a quarter of the 802GB set aside for games on the Xbox Series X. But throughout 2021, Black Ops Cold War will receive updates and “gain weight.”

Recall: the next Call of Duty will be released on November 13, 2020, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S. You can watch the latest trailer for the game here.
