Amazon online store has agreed with Nintendo to jointly celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Mario universe. In honor of this, the retailer began packing goods in special boxes depicting characters from the game. Engadget writes about this.

Items for packaging are randomly selected and purchasing Nintendo items will not affect your chances of getting a unique box. The store plans to use them as long as there is stock. More specific terms of the action have not been specified.

This is just one of several Nintendo projects to celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary. In early October, the company released Super Mario Bros. 35, turning the platformer into a battle royale.
