Samsung is going to return the Exynos SoC to its flagship smartphones. According to new data, at the same time, the Korean giant wants to provide graphics cores based on the AMD mRDNA architecture and the Exynos platform in the mid-range segment.
Insider Revegnus says that such GPUs can receive SoC Exynos 1430 and Exynos 1480, which will be released next year. If the current generation is anything to go by, the latter will be the basis for the Galaxy A55, while the Exynos 1430 will power the more affordable Galaxy A/M models.
AMD GPUs are even found in low-cost Samsung smartphones.
At the same time, the source stipulates that you should not expect any high gaming performance from these platforms. All platforms in this category cannot boast of particularly high gaming performance, but in any case, there are not many games on smartphones that even such SoCs can load.
