Among the updated monoblocks Apple iMac there will be a model with a screen diagonal of more than 27 inches

Today, an online source alias l0vetodream has confirmed speculation that at least one of the updated iMacs due this year will have a larger screen larger than any other Apple computer.

Apple currently sells iMacs with 21.5 and 27-inch screens. Rumor has it that this year the company will replace them with significantly redesigned computers based on proprietary ARM chipsets. It’s worth noting that the design of Apple’s all-in-ones hasn’t changed significantly since 2012.

l0vetodram said the new model would replace the 27-inch iMac and get an even larger display. It can be assumed that due to the abolition of wide frames around the screen, this will be achieved without increasing the overall dimensions. Recall that since last year, numerous sources say that the updated iMac will receive a design that combines the iPad Pro tablet features and the Pro Display XDR monitor. This information was recently confirmed by the authoritative publication Bloomberg, which claims that the new iMac will differ in thinner frames and lose the characteristic metal “chin.” It can be assumed that the largest iMac will receive a 32-inch display panel, which is currently sporting the Pro Display XDR. There are also rumors that the updated models will be sold in multiple colors.

In addition to a fresh design, the new all-in-one Apple will receive a radically redesigned hardware platform. We are talking about branded ARM chips, but probably not about last year’s Apple M1. Apple is testing brand new processors with 16 high-performance and four energy-efficient cores, according to Bloomberg.
