An affordable 5G Nokia smartphone with Snapdragon 690 is coming

The documentation on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has information about the new Nokia smartphone, which is being prepared for release by the Finnish company HMD Global. The device is codenamed TA-1322, but the commercial name remains a mystery.

Judging by the schematic images, the device will receive a multi-module main camera in the form of a round block. According to rumours, the resolution of the main sensor will be 48 million pixels.

In the back of the case, there will be a fingerprint scanner for user identification by fingerprints. Power will be provided by a 4000 mAh rechargeable battery.

The smartphone is credited with having a 6.5-inch PureDisplay FHD + HDR screen. The resolution of the front camera, located in a small hole in the display area, will be 24 million pixels.

The novelty can receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor, which contains eight Kryo 560 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz and an Adreno 619L graphics accelerator. The Snapdragon X51 5G Integrated Modem enables 5G mobile network connectivity.

The official presentation is expected in the first quarter of 2021. One of the modifications of the smartphone, according to rumours, will receive 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB.
