Microsoft has made one very useful innovation for smartphone owners available to everyone. This is the “Android PC app” feature in the Your Phone app for Windows.

Android apps on Windows 10 are now available to everyone

The feature was tested through the Windows 10 Insiders program until August and became available to select users in August. It is now distributed to all users of supported devices. This was announced by Microsoft Senior Program Manager Aneli Otero Diaz (Analy Otero Diaz) on her Twitter page. 

Your phone Apps feature allows you to stream applications from your smartphone to your PC. In fact, “launch” Android applications from your smartphone via Your Phone in a separate window on your PC, and pin them to the taskbar and Start menu – just like regular computer programs. 

So far, only one application can be “run” this way. Towards the end of the year, the function will get even better – it will be possible to work with several Android applications on the computer screen.

What do you mean by “supported devices”? PC requires an OS version with Windows 10 October 2018 Update or newer. Smartphones are currently only supported by Samsung with Android 9.0 Pie and the Link to Windows app. The list of models is quite long:
