Google updated the logo for the first time in four years
Google has unveiled a new logo for its Android operating system. The developers have redesigned both the image of the robot and the signature.

The new wordmark starts with a capital “A”, whereas for many years the Android logo started with a lowercase letter. The font has also changed. The image of the robot is no longer “flat”, but voluminous and stands out more.

For the first time, Google showed a three-dimensional image at the January CES 2023 exhibition, individual elements sometimes appeared at other events. Now Google has officially unveiled a new corporate identity.

Android will never be the same again
The new logo will eventually appear on the boot screen of all Android devices and apps. Currently Powered by Android is displayed.

Most likely, a large-scale update will begin to be distributed along with the release of Android 14 towards the end of 2023.
