Animal Crossing: New Horizons became the most played game on the American and British Amazon for 2020

The current year is coming to a close, in connection with which the American and British segments of the Amazon online store have updated the section with video game bestsellers.

Like a year ago, top-up cards in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop were the most popular items in the video game category, but for this post, we will focus on software.

Among the games directly in 2020, projects for the Nintendo Switch were in the greatest demand: eight out of ten possible places in the American version of the rating went to them.

The most popular video game in the American and British Amazon at the end of 2020 was Animal Crossing: New Horizons – world sales as of September 30 exceeded 26 million copies.
