Xiaomi has officially unveiled the new flagship smartphone Mi 10 Ultra in China. Despite early rumors, the novelty is based on the same eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile processor as the previous models of the current Mi series – Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, which were released about six months ago. At the same time, the smartphone is ready to offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive up to 512 GB.

Xiaomi Mi Model 10 equipped with an Ultra 6.67-inch display with a resolution FHD + 2340 × 1080. Display device offers support HDR10 +, has a peak brightness 1120 cd / m 2, and supports 10-bit color, allowing the display to 1.07 billion colors and various shades. For its quality, the display of the novelty has received certification from TÜV Rheinland. Fingerprint sensor – subscreen. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The operating system Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra uses the Android 11th version and the proprietary shell MIUI 12. The device supports two SIM cards, has support for WI-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, and is equipped with an NFC module. The smartphone is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. In fact, the battery is divided into two compartments, each with a capacity of 2250 mAh. There is support for fast 120W wired charging, which allows you to recharge the battery up to 41% in just 5 minutes, and up to 100% in just 23 minutes. In addition, the new product supports 50W fast wireless charging, which will fully charge the device in 40 minutes. Among the stated supported charging standards are Quick Charge 5.0, Quick Charge 4+, and Power Delivery 3.0. Also, the novelty has been certified by TÜV Rheinland Fast Charge 3.0.

We should also talk about the main camera unit of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone. And the device is really outstanding, according to the experts from DXOMark. The experts gave the main camera unit of the new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 130 points for the final result. Thus, he bypassed the current leader of the ranking, Huawei P40 Pro. The main unit of the rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone consists of four modules:

  • 48MP main sensor (physical size – 1 / 1.32 “; aperture – f / 1.85; pixel size – 2.4 microns; OIS);
  • 48MP Quad Bayer on lens (sensor size – 1/2 “; aperture – f / 4.1; OIS) with 5x optical zoom and phase detection autofocus;
  • 12MP cinema lens (f / 2 ″ aperture; Dual-Pixel AF technology) with 2x optical zoom;
  • 20-megapixel sensor (size – 1 / 2.8 ″; aperture – f / 2.2; phase detection autofocus) with ultra-wide-angle optics with a viewing angle of 128 degrees.

The main camera unit of Mi 10 Ultra offers support for 10x optical and 120x digital zoom, while the main sensor specially designed for smartphones allows you to take high-quality photos at night. The camera can record video with a resolution of up to 1080p at 120 frames / s, as well as slow-motion recording at a rate of up to 960 frames / s. In addition, it supports 8K video recording at 24fps and 4K video at 60fps.

The front camera of the device is represented by a single sensor with a resolution of 20 megapixels. It uses Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), can shoot 1080p video at 30fps and slow-motion video at 120fps. In addition, the front camera has HDR support and offers support for night mode.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone is available in three versions (Ceramic Black, Transparent Edition, Bright Silver) and in four configurations of RAM and permanent memory. The Ceramic Black variant will be offered with the following memory set:

  • 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of ROM (about $ 763);
  • 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM (about $ 806);
  • 12 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM (about $ 863);
  • 16 GB RAM + 512 ROM (about $ 1007).

And the Transparent Edition:

  • 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of ROM (about $ 763);
  • 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM (about $ 806);
  • 12 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM (about $ 863).

    The Bright Silver variant will only be available in one configuration, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM. Its manufacturer estimates it at about $ 1007. Pre-orders for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone in the Chinese market will begin to be accepted from August 15th.
