Smartphones go on sale today

Apple has updated documentation on its official website to indicate that fingerprints may “temporarily change the color” of the titanium frame on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

However, Apple says that this is not a permanent condition, since fingerprints can be erased like any other iPhone to return the frame to its original appearance without any marks.

“For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, skin oils may temporarily change the color of the frame,” Apple said. “Wipe your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to restore it to its original appearance.”
