At least on the processor side
The iPhone 15 Pro showed up in the benchmark, thanks to which we can compare its performance with its predecessor.
The latest three-nanometer SoC A17 Pro with 19 billion transistors in Geekbench 6 scores 2914 and 7199 in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively.
For comparison: A16 Bionic shows a result of about 2645 and 7075 points. That is, the increase in multi-threaded mode is almost absent, and in single-threaded mode, it is 10%, as Apple itself says.
Let us remember that in this case we are talking only about the processor part, and here we see that there is not much difference between the A16 Bionic and A17 Pro. At the same time, we recall that the A17 Pro became the first consumer SoC using the 3 nm process technology, and it is somewhat strange to see that Apple did not take advantage of this. However, let us remind you that the company itself placed the main emphasis on the GPU, but there are no tests for it yet.
