Apple ARM-based MacBook to be announced in November

Apple has already held a presentation of its products in September, the next press conference is scheduled for October 13, when the company should unveil the new generation of iPhone smartphones. However, the “apple giant”, apparently, will not stop there. Apple’s third event, according to Bloomberg, will take place in November. As part of it, the company is rumored to introduce MacBook laptops based on its own ARM processors.

Earlier, the information that Apple is preparing for release next month a 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro laptop with an ARM-processor of its own design, reported the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Holding three press conferences over three months in a row was not previously common for Apple, but this year the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic is significantly different.

Earlier it was reported that the first ARM-processors for Apple laptops will be 12-core, and they will be based on the A14X architecture. Laptops based on these chips are expected to offer better CPU and GPU performance than Intel chips, as well as an improved economy.

Recall that on October 13, Apple will hold a presentation, in the framework of which smartphones of the iPhone 12 series and the HomePod mini smart speaker will be presented. AirPods Studio wireless on-ear headphones may also be announced on the same day. As for the airbags tracker, according to insider Jon Prosser, it will not be announced until March 2021.
