Apple has closed its online store to replenish new products after today’s launch
In anticipation of the Time Flies online event, Apple has temporarily closed its online store. Such a move may indicate that new products will be available for pre-order or even purchase immediately after the event.
The placeholder image reads, “We’re updating the Apple store. Come back soon. ” Recall that today at 20:00 Moscow time, the Californian tech giant will hold a virtual event to launch new products. It is expected to feature new models of Apple Watch smartwatches and a fourth-generation iPad Air tablet, which will resemble the iPad Pro.
In terms of watches, the company is expected to introduce the flagship Apple Watch Series 6 and budget Watch SE, which will compete with fitness trackers like Fitbit. Some sources also claim that the iPhone 12 will be shown during the event, but this most likely will not happen. Apple itself said in the summer that the launch of smartphones will be delayed by several weeks compared to usual dates.
The Time Flies online event will be streamed on Apple’s website, on the company’s YouTube channel, and through the TV app on various Apple platforms.
