There is a problem with the usual HomePod

The Apple HomePod smart speaker, which came out almost three years ago, among other things, was noted for leaving marks on certain surfaces. More specifically, the rubber ring on the bottom of the device left marks on certain wooden surfaces.

HomePod mini will not spoil the expensive coverage in this way. Apple said it resolved the issue, although it did not specify how exactly. Considering that the large speaker left marks due to oil diffusion between the silicone ring and the wooden surfaces, Apple probably changed the rubber material.
