They are noticeably inferior to smartphones on SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
The recently unveiled Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro smartphones have already been spotted in the AnTuTu test. Both devices are powered by the latest 5nm A14 Bionic SoC, but their benchmark scores are not impressive compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC found in most flagship Android smartphones.
Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro appear in AnTuTu test, but do not impress with results
The combined score of GPU, CPU, memory, and user interface performance is close to 570,000, while the best smartphones on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 reach almost 650,000.
The biggest lag behind Apple’s new smartphones is in GPU performance. In the other three categories, it does not exceed 10%.
Comparison with the previous generation Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphone, built on the 7-nanometer SoC A13 Bionic, seems to be more correct. Its result in AnTuTu 8 is 536,883 points, that is, the advantage of the iPhone 12 is 5-6%.
