Apple is going to offer customers a new opportunity: now employees of Apple Store stores will be able to sell with home delivery, that is, customers will not need to come to the store.

This is reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who confirmed that the new EasyPay online ordering program will be available in stores in August. Previously, Apple store employees could recommend customers to shop online or help them checkout on the website.

By switching more customers to home delivery, future Apple stores will be able to dedicate less back office space to store items. It’s also more convenient: when buying bulky devices like an iMac, the buyer doesn’t have to think about how to take it home.

Mark Gurman added that the new strategy will come in handy when deploying Vision Pro. With the multitude of accessory combinations for the Vision Pro, such as the headband and light seals, each to fit the size of each user’s head, it’s unlikely that Apple stores will be able to stock everything.
